Some of these are real plans. Some are just daydreams. All of them are going on the list.

1. Somewhere with impossibly blue water — and nothing to do but read.
2. The mountains — a little cabin, cold mornings, warm blankets.
3. A city we can explore by bike — no taxis allowed.
4. A food trip — choose a place purely for what’s on the menu.
5. A place neither of us has ever heard of — chosen by spinning a globe.
